Problem

Slow cold start, growing crash rate, painful release cycle, and architectural friction across new chains and features as the app scaled.

Live production app with daily users. Zero-downtime expectations, regulated payment flows, and an existing in-house team to integrate with.

    Optimized JS bundle loading, refactored native bridge usage, fixed startup hotspots and over-fetching on the dashboard.

  • Architecture

    Refactored wallet flows into modular packages so new chains shipped in days, not weeks.

  • QA & releases

    Automated regression suite, device matrix coverage, and a weekly release train with crash & ANR monitoring.

  • Security

    Hardened key-management flows, biometric auth, and transaction-signing UX with risk checks.

Measured outcomes

  • Cold start improved from 3.2s to 1.9s on baseline test devices.
  • Crash-free sessions reached 99.9% across iOS and Android.
  • Release cadence moved from ~3 weeks to a weekly train with rollback safety.
  • JS bundle reduced by ~35% through code-splitting and dependency cleanup.
  • Product-level +285% active users during the engagement period. Note: growth is multi-causal; engineering enabled it but did not alone produce it.
